The colour is very popular in Denmark and is named Dyrehaven Red. Dyrehaven is a huge nature park near Copenhagen. The colour was and still is produced for all the gates in and around the park. The beautiful Scandinavian Red is a result from a mixture of different oxide red pigments. The paint should be spread out well. It is opaque and lightfast.
