    Verona green is a pale green shade tending to greyish. It is a discrete tone, almost classic and exudes a pleasant calm. It is related to our Marstal green, which is more intense/ luscious and greener in comparison. Verona green is an opaque and lightfast colour.

    Our chrome oxide green has a warm and deep shade of green. It is a very popular and commonly colour for windows, doors and gates. Deutsche Bahn used this colour for the wagons of the passenger trains until the 1960s. Chrome oxide green has a good opacity, is lightfast and easy to work with.

    Our moss green is a dark shade of green, that comes very close to RAL shade 6005. It fits in perfectly with our green shade range and is placed right behind our chrome oxide green. It is darker than chrome oxide green but significantly greener than our elegant dark port green.

    Our moss green is a very popular shade on the danish island Fanø. There you will find many windows and doors in this shade of green. Moss green has good lightfastness and is opaque.

    Port green (gate green) is also known as Copenhagen green. You will quickly rediscover this colour in the cityscape of Copenhagen. Windows, doors, large gates and even entire facades are often kept in this intense dark blue-green. Port green is very suitable for large areas. However, you should then note that the adjacent areas should be kept lighter in colour. Otherwise, port green quickly looks black and the blue-green character disappears. Port green has good opacity and is satisfactorily lightfast.

    The colour paste allows you to mix your own linseed oil paint. To create a linseed oil paint you should mix the colour paste with boiled linseed oil.

    Our Institute green is a strong, dark shade of green, which due to its yellowish nuance, appears less blue than our Port green. Institue green is named after a well-known institut in Copenhagen (Blindeinstitutet). Institute green has a good opacity, due to its strong green effect, but allows the underground to shine slightly through and is therefor semi-transparent. The lightfastness is satisfying.

    The colour paste allows you to mix your own linseed oil paint. To create a linseed oil paint you should mix the colour paste with boiled linseed oil.

    Our Umber green belongs to the group of ocher tones. It is a discrete, pleasant shade. It is the most earthy shade of our greens. The natural silicate content gives this earth pigment a greenish appearance. Umber green is coarse-grained, has a slightly translucent effect and is lightfast.

    Umber green imitated is, as the name suggest, a mixed shade. It is significantly darker and more intense than our natural umber green. It has a good opacity and is lightfast.

    Boiled Linseed Oil

    Boiled linseed oil to mix our linseed oil paste to a spreadable paint. Boiled linseed oil is linseed oil that was mixed with a desiccant. It is added to linseed oil pastes to form a spreadable linseed oil paint. For this purpose, it is stirred in equal parts of boiled linseed oil and linseed oil paste including the desiccant. The amount of desiccant varies from colour to colour.

    Good boiled linseed oil has a bright clear color. It's a little thicker than cold-pressed linseed oil but without being viscous or too oily.

    Boiled linseed oil usually dries within 16-18 hours, in some cases 24 hours.
