Description
Brown soap, crystal soap, or *Krystalsæbe* (in Danish)—this popular product goes by many names. It is a natural product based on vegetable oils.
It is primarily used for the thorough cleaning of surfaces such as floors, patios, and decking. In its concentrated form, it is also suitable for paint removal.
Brown soap is highly popular for the simultaneous cleaning and conditioning (replenishing natural oils) of teak decks on boats and ships.
Content: 500 g
Dosage for general cleaning: 2 scoops (approx. 25 g) per 5 liters of warm water.
Allow the soap solution to sit for 15–30 minutes, then scrub clean with water. A more concentrated solution may be used for heavily soiled surfaces.
This soap is more alkaline than linseed oil soap and has a pH value of approximately 11.
Do not use on painted or varnished surfaces, as the coating may come off.
