Description
This furniture oil has been specially formulated for use on solid, untreated furniture and wooden surfaces. It protects your furniture while allowing the wood to breathe. The coloured oils accentuate the unique characteristics of each type of wood. The result is a beautiful finish that enhances the appearance of every piece of furniture by showcasing its colour and natural wood texture.
To achieve a good result, prepare the surfaces carefully and sand wooden surfaces thoroughly with 240-grit sandpaper.
Coverage: 10 m²/L for a two-coat application.
Our furniture oils are linseed oil-based blends. They are only suitable for solid wood surfaces. Using them on veneers, plywood, MDF or chipboard will result in an uneven and patchy colour finish. Always carry out a test on a sample piece of wood or in an inconspicuous area beforehand. Make sure the surface is untreated and thoroughly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper (240 grit) before applying the furniture oil. Then apply the wood oil by rubbing it in. Leave it to work for between 20 minutes and one hour, then carefully remove any excess oil with a lint-free cloth. For optimum protection, apply the oil a second time after two to three days.
Surfaces treated with furniture oil remain sensitive until fully cured.

Risk of spontaneous combustion! Rags/paper soaked in linseed oil can easily catch fire. Store rags and papers soaked in linseed oil in an airtight metal container or immerse them in water.
