The linseed oil paint Scandinavien Red is immediately ready to paint. 

Scandinavian Red is a calm and harmonious shade. Compared to our Swedish Red, our Scandinavian Red looks less earthy and is a shade more reddish. The colour is very popular in Denmark and is named Dyrehaven Red. Dyrehaven is a huge nature park near Copenhagen. The colour was and still is produced for all the gates in and around the park. The beautiful Scandinavian Red is a result from a mixture of different oxide red pigments. The paint should be spread out well. It is opaque and lightfast.

You can choose whether you want the colour with or without a drying accelerator. The siccative additive accelerates the drying process by about one day. 

We recommend priming with our cold-pressed linseed oil to saturate the wood.

Risk of spontaneous combustion! Rags/paper soaked in linseed oil can easily catch fire. Store rags and papers soaked in linseed oil in an airtight metal container or immerse them in water.
